Identify Mystery Raleigh
Hi everyone,
I have an old Raleigh bike that my housemate left behind, I want to get some new parts for it and I’d like to know what mode I have. The only numbers I can find are 80301 on the BB shell and 9457691 at the base of the seat post.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, M.

I love old Raleighs, but more information is needed. Please keep posting so that you can upload a picture (that takes two days (10 posts)), or post a link to the photos.

Hi Millie, welcome to Bike Forums.
Yes you will need 10 posts to be able to show pictures, but you can easily get those by posting a bit more about the bike. For instance, style, wheel size, gearing system, etc. Also post a bit about what you think is potentially wrong with it and what you plan to do to fix.

Nottingham head badge, 18-23 tubing decal and stamped dropouts suggest an entry level, foreign market model, probably UK.

That has me in mind of a Record that someone attempted to put a fade paint job on.

I think the black paint is original, hence why the stickers are still there, but the yellow is spray paint that's been put on after in an attempt to replicate the "Team Banana" colour scheme. Either way I've order some primer and paints!
