Unscheduled activities with an unknown associate involving the police and metal tubes - sounds quite sketchy.

Mine is changing out light fixtures at the office park. Last week was changing the emergency lights. Hope I don’t develop a stutter.

In that order?

Day off today. MIL visiting this weekend too, so I'm gonna try to get in 12 or so hours over my long weekend.
Originally, I had this F and coming M off so I could take care of Lilly while Liz went to Cancun for my sister's bachelorette party, which has been canceled. I felt both terrified and excited about that at the same time. Terrified since it would be the longest I've had to take for baby without mom (she's 5.5 months), excited because I would have felt proud about holding down the fort and giving Liz a nice long break, which she deserves.

He also has a tv show called Roadworthy Rescues. It's on the Motortrend channel here. So far 2 seasons but I don't know if it's coming back. It's kinda like the early VGG episodes except some of the cars belong to someone else and he just fixes them up.

Here's the new MTB. The cockpit has been swapped out, but otherwise it is mostly stock. Need to put a lighter saddle on there (I think I got somethin' in my bins), and some carbon rims, although the wheels won't happen right away.
40 mi MTB group ride with 4,000' planned for Sunday, only a few miles of pavement, sweet.
Not sure about that lime green top cap.... the shop had it on the shelf and I wanted something cute. Might need something else.

Yeah. Been on hardtails with 100 mm up front for my last two bikes (~10 yrs combined). Haven't weighed it yet but its a good bit heavier. New saddle and wheels should help w that.
TBH I think a full on sprint or like a fairly long climb would be the only times it's slower than my HT. Turns out keeping the wheels on the ground is so much faster and more efficient for the bulk of the trail riding - who knew

My first full suspension bike was 63mm in the back and it came with a Girvin fork which I eventually replaced with a 100mm Manitou. Got it down around 28 pounds with light tires around 500 grams.

FS is so much better for the trails around here, but I must admit that I do kind of miss the feeling of the rear wheel of my hardtail getting super light when braking hard on a chunky descent

Same here. We replaced our back screen door a few years ago, and with it the dog door, and neither dog is willing to go through it, so to avoid becoming a Doggie Doorman, Mrs. GJ tends to leave both the door and screen door open so they can come and go as they please. If she does that after we move back East, she'll be unpleasantly surprised.
