Poor sleep habits are a major issue for a big chunk of my patients. Best advice I can give is pick a regular bedtime and wake time that is consistent and allows fully refreshed sleep. Do something relaxing the 30 minutes before bed, avoid screen time or anything controversial then. No caffeine within 6 hours of bedtime.
That’s my dr datlas sleep advice. Sadly, most patients say that’s not working and want a sleeping medicine. Sad.

Oh sorry, I forgot to mention it, I abandoned the riding idea, just too much trouble packing a helmet, shoes, etc. Plus the heat.

Back from Bermuda. Got 4th in our division and 13/38 overall on uncorrected time. Not too bad for a crew of old farts who race together once every two years, learning a complex new boat. Race was pretty easy, but we had endless mechanical and electronics issues, which slowed us down a bit.
Here are a few pics of us at the start in Buzzards Bay. I have other pics of life on board, which I can post if anyone is interested.

You lucked out with perfect weather for your visit. It might not reach triple digits until Monday.

Still it’s hot, although clearly if it was east coast humid it would be worse.

We survived our jaunt into the city. We had two really good meals, saw a good film (Echoes in the Canyon, about the Laurel Csnyon music scene in the mid 1960’s), walked the U Penn campus, took in a modern art museum and walked a LOT. I did not strava it but the app in my phone says 9 miles.

Wife chose my two-week absence to start a very serious weight loss program focused on low carbs and calorie restriction. She's lost weight, but the most dramatic thing is how much better joints feel. It's going to be awkward eating different stuff than she at dinner, but I really need to support her.

Currently replacing the shifter on the boy's bike; I have decided that working at a bike shop would probably wouldn't shake out too well for me - every time I bust out the stand and tools, I feel compelled to crack open a beer.

Annnnd now the boy's bike shifts better than mine.
Had him test going up and down the cassette - much, much easier. For only a retail $17 part, I don't understand why they wouldn't spec this trigger shifter rather than that ****ty grip-shifter.

How big is the keel on that boat, @MoAlpha?
