Cushion for saddle rails to carry bike on shoulder?

Cushion for saddle rails to carry bike on shoulder?
Hello
Sometimes, I need to run to catch a train/bus and don't have time to fold my Brompton, and those are places where riding a bike is typically not allowed.
In that case, I'd like to simply carry the bike on my shoulder thusly:
I googled for "bicycle carry shoulder saddle rails cushion", but got no hit, which I find suprising because it's probably not an uncommon need for commuters, not just those riding a folding bike.
Is there really no ready-made product I could buy?
I know the Off Yer Back handle, but was looking for something simpler (I don't need the handle, and finding + putting on the strap would take longer than simply putting the bike on my shoulder).

Interesting need, I never would have thought of it. (My commuter is a crosscheck, and I shoulder the top tube daily to climb an embankment).
If you can't find anything purpose-made, I'd try to get creative with a pool noodle and a box cutter. Maybe cut off a 4-6inch section, slice it in half lengthwise, and try to stuff the sides between the rails and seat so it would stay put on its own. If not, then slide some duct tape between seat and rail, squoosh the foam up there, then wrap the duct tape tight.

Any sort of pad that extends further out than the saddle will be annoying to use (your legs will hit it.) Most people don't have this issue because the have flat top tubes.
I'd simply make one with some padding under the saddle. Shouldn't be too hard.

How about if you take a kitchen/bathroom hand towel and wrap it around the rails and tuck it in? Corrado33 is right though, you need to make sure your pad doesn't end up wider than the nose of the saddle.

Current Brompton saddles have a Handle-Grip under the nose.

Get a Suit Coat with padded Shoulders .

Don't over complicate it.
Simple strap attached to top tube and seatpost at the right length should be fine.
For a permanent commuter you could set it up to just hang discreetly out of the way.
