There had been snow and out neighbor couldn’t even be bothered to clear our steps of snow, but it’s fine to have a squatter in our house.
We’re probably going to use the money on a lake house in the dacks, so long as I can get decent internet, we can spend the whole summer there.

How is it dangerous? What is China going to do to me?
On the other hand, if it advances understanding of RA, that's a good thing (as I talked of yesterday).

On January 23rd I was admitted to the hospital with A Fib that happened on my ride. Thankfully, I only got two miles out when it hit the fan. Luckily the way back was flat to downhill. After 18 hours in the hospital, I converted naturally to a regular rhythm and was discharged in the afternoon.
I'm on a blood thinner and beta blocker and am wearing a monitor until Feb 11. I have a stress test on 2/17 and a follow up with the cardiologist to go over the monitor and stress test results on 3/17. The stress test is chemical (Speed or similar)and they will be looking at my heart as it happens.
The good thing is I am considered a low risk but am looking forward to the results so I know what lies ahead for me and what changes and limits I'll have.
I've been processing this for a week+ and haven't posted until i had my follow up yesterday and got some more information. I left the hospital pretty much in the dark which is bizarre. It's not like I was the first person to be diagnosed. Something like "you've been diagnosed with A Fib here are the 10 things you need to know" Alas, no dice.
In the immortal words of Forrest Gump, "that's all I've got to say about that."

If we include workin' up the gumption with the rest of the prep, how long does it take you?

The scenario in the article was they sell it to entities marketing "precision medicine" treatments for things you're supposedly at risk for. That could be good, of course, but also a huge opportunity to grift and scam. In fact, they wouldn't even need to have your data; you thinking they did would be good enough.

I just have to be careful to keep the banks at the end of the driveway low enough that we can see down the road.

I have gained something over a lb. since starting weights again and thought I would update my declared weight in Zwift.
- I had the preferences set for metric units and my weight had been 65 kg.
- So, I converted my new weight (145 lbs) to kg (66) and put that in.
- Then I decided to switch back to imperial units and my weight read 146.
- Well, that was wrong, so I dialed it down to 145.
- Then I decided to see what happened when I went back to metric.
- Voilà, 65 kg, no change!

Have you eaten fake bacon?
TBD
I watched the segment. Several times it was suggestive of China = bad, without actually spelling out what the bad was for someone who only gets medical treatments the normal way (via a doctor). I guess if you're the kind of person who might order mystery pills from China it could be a different story.

Man, to think that I could be within 10kg of MoAlpha this year, if only I watch what I eat, exercise daily and don't go to jail for ripping off someone's head in a case of the raging hangries.

The slight reconfiguration of the site is bothersome. On the Chrome desktop version, at least, the totally useless "Vendor Directory" link is now where the frequently used "Quick Links" used to be.

I've had this product plenty of times but grew weary of the after-taste it leaves in my mouth so I rarely do so now.
