Yes they were. It was basically the smallest space you could fit four adults and a drivetrain. Very clever packaging. Of course they were originally very basic, slow and wouldn't get close to passing a modern crash test. The new (fake) mini is not a patch on the original, but probably is a better car.

Same. I know how to moderate my intake in November and December so that I don't need to dry out in January.

So, the answer is - Yes, the brake cable fixing bolts were tight enough. What I hadn't noticed is how sloppy the shifting had become, because now it's really crisp! A couple times I wasn't even sure it had shifted because it was so instant and quiet.
Finally managed to do an actual Z1/Z2 ride. Usually I find myself chasing someone down for the hell of it, or something that puts me in Z3 or higher.
Today, I just reveled in being outside. Lots of other riders. One reminded me why I wear bib shorts, while another reminded me why you throw your bibs away when the start getting thin in the back. I wonder if it was the guy who posted about 'perfectly serviceable bibs' that had become translucent.....
Some nice cars out today! The usual proliferation of Porsches, of course, but there was an Alfa Romeo 4C, a Lotus 7, an ORIGINAL Mini Cooper (good god! They were so SMALL!!!), and a Citroen 2CV.

Not much you can do about it outdoors.

So we had about a whopping two inches of snow at 9 am, by 10 am it started to rain and the snow started to disappear. I went driving at 2 and these two neighbors were using brooms to sweep snow out of their drive way. We’re talking like half and inch that is melting before your eyes.
People are strange.

Funny you say that. We do our own Christmas Cards every year, and my best ones, or the ones I like the best, are from long rides. Rearranging the garage, remodeling stuff, Stuff. Usually, good stuff. Zone 2 beat down rides, I think about what an ******* John is. He happens to be my friend, and also my coach.
I learned how to get along with myself on the bike, and that helped a lot.

Too cold and scary, but boy oh boy, what an experience it would be!
Could still change my mind...

My first ever frittata. Asparagus, shallots, mushrooms, tarragon and a blend of Italian cheeses. Quite good, but some roasted peppers would have been nice
