My latest set up quirk
The handlebar is a V-O Montmarte that is designed to be mounted with the grip area on top. It’s a 50mm rise/drop. The grip area is 22.2, the brifters will clamp securely only in the curve area. I did this out of boredom and curiosity, and I think this quirkiness works very well. The comfort factor is way high on the scale.
I cannot do traditional drop bars any longer, including compact ones. This is a nice compromise for me. IMO, it looks quirky cool. Had to add the driveside shot to give a look at that.

Lotsa climbing today, did over 10'k of elevation gain. The view at the top made it all worth it.
