If my driveway wasn't so steep I'd seriously consider staying put in this house until the cows come home. But that 25% driveway is a killer after a winter storm.

We currently live 200 meters outside the village limit. We have butane trucked in, village water, plus a drilled well, and 100% solar for electricity. Trash pickup twice a week, but we rarely put much out.

Yeah, I took the pains to measure it this year and even I was surprised. It rises 1 foot for every 4 feet you travel.

It's an amicable thing, just wasn't good for either of us any more and it turns out I'm not really big on being a suburban dad in a cul de sac. 50/50 split with the kiddo is what I wanted and what we're doing, so that's good.
