Hey WhyFi are there any places up around your neck of the woods that would be good for a weekend AirBNB/VRBO getaway?
Probably wouldn't want to go all the way up to the Twin Cities but maybe the Lacrosse/Eau Claire area.

If you REALLY want to go down a rabbit hole, get a WHOOP device. It tracks HRV (heart rate variability). My cardiology EP friends tell me this is no way ready for prime time, btw.

Don't do Lacrosse, it has rained 4 out of the 5 times I've gone there . Of course YMMV and likely will.
The Elroy Sparta trail is a great ride. With the 3 tunnels remember to bring a flash light. I am pretty sure its unpaved as are the other rails to trails bike trails in the area. I've never road biked in the area, but I'm guessing with the bluffs, Mississippi, and general wooded wilderness could likely put together a good ride or two. Wisconsin puts out a bike guide and there may be some suggestions for road bike routes in there.

From what I hear, no optical device can give really accurate R-R intervals. I use an old Polar chest strap for HRV and an optical device on the bike. The processing side of WHOOP sounds to me like expensive voodoo.

I've had mixed results with mouse medicine--that is, inflammation is better, but not great. Going to try six-week cycle rather than eight and see what happens. Otherwise, may move to one of the dwindling remaining drugs.

I participated in a drug trial in my youth and the phlebotomists would scold guys for not drinking enough water. I'm not sure how they wouldn't drink enough, all there was to do was drink water, read bad books and watch bad TV. Maybe they napped too much.
That's one business sector I hadn't thought about being affected by the Rona. They had us crammed in there. 6 bunks in approx 12x12' rooms. Not very save for virus times.

I think there's an okay literature on the response of single HRV measurements to training stress within individuals, I mean by exercise science standards.

Take the wheels out of the frame and put a little lube where things interface. Lean on the saddle with both hands and try to twist it around. Turn the bike upside down and lean into the pedals and twist/torque things around. Check the chainring bolts. Lean/twist the handle bars and stem.
