Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I checked at bikehubstore and whatnot, but I'd rather just have the wheel rebuilt at this point; paying 7 bucks shipping for a $2 spoke seems silly when I can ship the wheel to Reynolds and they'll replace all of them for free.

edited to add: oh, maybe I didn't mention that previously - this would all be under their lifetime warranty.

Thanks. I lost my dog, my Dad and my Mom within 11 months in 2014, and this is way harder. But I'm starting to adjust. There are a lot of amazingly hot women available in my dating bracket, but of course some of them can be a little *ahem* nutty. So finding one to love isn't so easy. But I'm getting decent traction on the online dating sites. Dating sucks right up until it doesn't.

Man, I feel for you. Do you still live atop Mt. Doom or Diablo or whatever it was called?

I’m watching an Icelandic detective series on Netflix at the moment and have read several Icelandic mystery novels. They seem to be brooding and dark.

The older I get,I find that the younger hot ones are easier to deal with.Women my own age are too mental. Some just can't enjoy life, and are constantly overthinking things.

It’s a harsh little place, but everyone seems to have a sense of humor and we have some good friends there. Fortunately, daughter and boyfriend live in Ireland, which is a little more to my liking.

Anyone under 30? I have a question.

We gave my nephew a VERY generous wedding gift two months ago. We did not get a thank you card.

Is that no longer a thing?

Oh, it's still a thing. If I were a betting man, I would say that the wife put the hubby in charge of sending out thank yous for his side of the family.

Very possible. But the closest thing I have to a social media account is Strava. And this place.
