Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Pole is a lacrosse defense shaft. Decided to use that instead of ski poles since its more durable. Got it for $25 at the local used sporting goods store but it looks brand new. Mallet and wheel covers have seen one days worth of use (5-6 games), bike's seen 2 days worth of use, and I've been 4 times now.

Ya, I guess trolling references can be made because I posted fairly newish equipment instead of stuff that i've played with for a couple years, but I've only been playing polo for about 2 weeks now.

this stuff called mek. it's hyper chemical and hyper volatile and hyper ecounfriendly... but damn does it ever work. also, you can use jasco aircraft stripper. anything really will work, just some better than others.

methyl ethyl ketone. that' what it was.

I never realized how huge your backyard was, but I remember you have a fantastic kitchen. Must be a ***** to rake all the leaves in your yard...then again you're going to hire someone but it would still be a *****...though he'd get paid more if it's by the hour.

keep the hundred bucks and get that leader you've always wanted. you know if you buy a different frame you'll always have an itch for the leader.

You know me well...

My love for the 722 is quite evident, however, my love for an IRO Mark V is just as strong. I'm kind of torn between the two, I might get whichever my wallet likes the most.

I said it hasn't seen any game time because it's so new and shiny. People who have played polo for years make new mallets too, and their mallets look shiny before they use them.
Shiny equipment doesn't mean you've never played.

I was just asking a question and making a comment, don't read into it too much like that other nerd.

I like the lacrosse shaft idea, btw. Seems like it'd be heavier though.

Heh, was just about to say. I don't think I will be getting a frame any time soon, unless I get it as a surprise birthday present. So yea, I'm going to ride this frame until it snaps a stay or something...

Sorry for holding up that spot Scrod.
