My 2015 Giant TCX Advanced Pro 1 (with K-Edge Garmin Mount and Chain Catcher) weighs 20.7lbs with the stock Giant P-CXR1 alloy rims and Schwalbe Super Swans. I decided to swap them out for a set of Clement X'Plor USH and the weight came down to 19lbs. I also got a second set of rims, the Giant P-CXR0 carbon rims, and mounted some Clement LAS tires on them which puts the weight under 17lbs but the tires aren't as durable for daily riding. Loving this bike so far.

With the carbon wheels (shows with Clement X'Plor USH tires, the Clement LAS were swapped afterwards)...

Not sure what to say about the top tube angle, it has less of an angle than a CAADx, which I think has a pretty aggressive stance to begin with. I wouldnt consider either frames compact.
The stem you can shorten, but typically if your going under 80mm most people will say the bike is too big for you. As for the seat post, switching to a zero setback post isn't the best solution to shorten a bike, it puts your body too far forward in relation to the bottom bracket, and you would have to put the seat back further on the rails for a true correct fit.
All I can say is buy it and try it. If it fits keep it, if not, send it back for the smaller size. You will just be out shipping.

With the carbon wheels (apologize for bad pic)...
I suppose its its pretty light all things considered for a hydro disc brake set up.

I may be going overboard but I ordered a set of these cages to replace the cheapo chinese knock offs I put on it above which do a poor job of keeping the bottles secure...
and of course some orange bottles to go with it...
Then someday when the white bar tape is cashed, I'll have to decide between basic black or the Fizik orange so it is an exact match to the saddle. (I'll probably go with black but you never know):

Van Dessel WTF, Alfine 8 with JTek shifter. HY/RD brakes, Gates belt, Rock n' Road tires, Gyes saddle with Brooks bag, Time Atac peddles.
A little heavy, and a little inefficient, but a reliable, zero maintenance "all-road" bike for our local mountains.

That is just wild. IGH, disk brakes and a curved top tube. All so alien to anything I have ever set up but it looks like such a fun ride that I really like it.

Well, it's a good "proof of concept" bike for me, but there's a lot that really isn't so great. The curved/twin top tube deal, for example, is eye-catching but just doesn't work as well as a traditional one. And the overall geometry is a bit weird too - in order to get a reasonable seat tube fit I would have had to go with a TT something like three cm. too long, so I ended up with the little tiny frame and a mile of headset spacers.
But it does all work, more-or-less, and it is a lot of fun. I think I'm going to go custom to solve all the niggles and then have a bike I like a lot.

Thanks. X4, didn't want to risk any slippage which I've read about with the X2 road stem. More clamping area for the carbon bars.

I own a couple of Salsa Ti's but not this one.
Great choice. It absolutely fills the road and gravel endurance box.
Nice touches too!
Enjoy,
