I decided on a club ride today. 13 of us started and one didn't show up at the top of the big climb, which was an out and back. 3 of the young bucks decided they wanted more (we were only doing 45 miles) and when it got all headwindy later it got down to just 4 of us finishing the route. Got blown around a bit and sandblasted at one point but I felt better on the climbs than I have in a while.

Got home from getting the tires done, and wanted to ride. Wife had other ideas. So, we trimmed all the freeze damaged shrubs in front, dug out half-dozen Azalias and put them out of their misery, then replanted new ones. Now icing L4-L5. How many calories did that burn?

Got it home and started putting it together. I managed to snap the down tube coupler. He had warned me that it was easy to strip, and recommended 4 nm. I never felt my wrench click and was tightening it slowly. It didn’t come with any spares, so will have to find a replacement. Almost N+1.

I got out for a ride on the Cervelo earlier today. It was good fun. Also, I popped on the new Michelin Power Road TLRs. At first blush, they don't feel quite as supple as the Pro One Addix, but they seem to roll pretty well and grip seems pretty good, though I wasn't exactly chucking it in to corners with all of the sand and salt on the roads. I'll try slightly lower pressure tomorrow.
I’m getting the orange bike cleaned up and hopefully ready to go this week. Putting Pro One Addix on, she needs a new chain and new brake pads (going with black prince).
The Revolt is going to get some new tires too for spring and summer dirt- probably some RH 38s.
I’m sometimes tempted to sell the R3 and pick up a Caledonia w/ regular ultegra or even 105, but I think I would miss Di2

28 degrees this morning. I was convinced winter was over.
Did some more research last night on building the breakaway. recommended torque was 4 nm but the clamp lips are not suppose to kiss. Mine went to third base before they broke. Patience is a virtue I sometimes lack. Thankfully a replacement part isn’t breaking the bank so hopefully back in business next week.

The POA are really good tires - I think you'll like 'em. The only thing that I didn't like about them was that they don't stay bead-locked on to my wheels when deflated, which makes install and sealant maintenance a little more complicated and "a little more complicated" isn't something that I need or want. I've been wanting to taste-test a few of the better tires on the market anyway, so, if I don't find something that's as good and easier to live with, I'll go back to them and try double-wrapping the rim tape or something.

That blows, but the bike looks sweet and it won't be too costly of a lesson. Now, once you get wheels for this thing, move a power meter to the top of your list, would ya?!

It’s a complete bike, came with mavic pro concept wheels. Only thing I am missing are pedals, but for now I will throw on bontrager platforms. Might even start wearing flip flops again.
