New Bar tape, the color looked like it matched before it was wrapped. Not sure how I feel about it. Fixed the hoods and I raised the stem 5mm. Did a short test ride and Like how it felt, gunna go ride with my daughter to see how it feels. I was able to get the front de railed to shift correctly by following y’all’s guidance so thank you.
Quick question, When on the small chain ring and granny ring if I pedal backwards the chain wants to drop, if I pedal forward it doesn’t look like the chain is seated properly. It’s not affecting how it rides, but I don’t like noises.

It takes somethin'... but I still sure as hell wouldn't wear the medal in public.
Personally, I wouldn't want a finisher's medal. I'd happily wear a finisher's t-shirt, but a medal would go to waste.

The derailleur and/or hanger could be bent inwards - that's a part of what caused my thrown chain, I think. Pedaling forward, that alignment might not be problematic much of the time, but pedaling backwards the chain is too far out of alignment for the teeth at the bottom of the chainring to engage.

It would be most likely to do it on the largest cog, since it's the furthest inward. Just put it in the front/rear combo that's giving you trouble and look at the alignment of the chain at the bottom of the chainring.

Likely a small adjustment needed on the limit screw. I'd also check the chain for a stiff link.

I was told to do it 3 times a day, 3 repetitions per side (L & R) until it stopped. I think it was gone after 3 or 4 days. It is gone completely. You do it yourself on a bed. It takes 10 or 15 minutes each time so 30-45 minutes per day. Search YouTube for a visual demonstration.

I got to see a couple of cattle movements while on the trail. I should've put the long lens on for this (since I did haul it with me the whole time) but it was windy and dusty and I was feeling lazy. I also didn't know it would take them another 20 minutes after they'd got them this close to the gate
