Ciöcc is not supposed to sound like Italian, even though it's an Italian nickname. The ö sound is a German one, not found in either English or Italian. Form your lips as if you're going to see "ee" but then say "ih" as in "hit." You end up sounding like you're saying "church" but with a British accent, like the Brits who don't pronounce 'r' in the middle of words.

And not coincidentally, many of the northernmost Italian regions speak dialects that have Germanic influence.

I think I'm going to abandon my fixed gear project and sell off the parts, I finished and rode it last night, it was so much fun but my knee really can't take that. It already hurts.

Find me a 54cm TT $300 ride with old DA or Record and I'll love you forever.

Three speed Sturmey Archer hub, original Pirelli tires, Bianchi brakes. German Witkkop saddles, original pump. Made in Italy 1961 Fiorelli tandem bicycle built for two. Awesome classic, rides, shifts, stops fine. Chrome not the greatest on the rims but elsewhere pretty good.. graphics are super 1961. Any questions? Ask.

Bianchi Road Bike Columbus Frame, Time Carbon Fork & Campagnolo Chorus - $995 (North Easton, MA)

Date: 2010-06-18, 1:41PM EDT
Reply to: sale-afwrf-1798672402@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Classic Bianchi road bike in excellent condition. The color is Celeste (seafoam) green with chrome chainstays. The high quality hand-built frame was made in Italy. Today, most Bianchis are made in Asia. It has lugged construction, which is extremely rare these days. The tubing is butted Columbus Minimax, which is composed of Nivacrom alloy steel. Columbus is the leading maker of high-end bicylce tubing and is used in many exotic (and expensive) bikes. The frame is very light for a steel frame. I bought the bike brand new and have not ridden it often. I own many other bikes and have very little time to ride. I have not ridden this bike in over 5 years. It has never been crashed or dropped and the frame has never been repaired. The components are Campagnolo Chorus 10 speed. The components have very low miles on them as I did not ride the bike much after I upgraded them. By the way, although Campagnolo has moved on to 11 speed and is no longer selling 10 speed groups, they are still manufacturing 10 speed components and 10 speed parts will be available for many years, just like 9 speed parts were. The bike has always been stored indoors and has never seen a drop of rain. It has a Time carbon fork and also comes with a Campagnolo Record headset. The handlebars are Cinelli and it has a Profile quill stem. It also has a carbon seat post. The wheels are hand built with Mavic Reflex rims and Campagnolo Chorus hubs. The wheels have 0 miles on them since I had the bearings professionally re-lubricated and inspected and the wheels trued. The tires are Michelin Axial Pros with Celeste green trim. The frame measures 55 cm., center to center. I am about 5' 10 1/2" and have a 32" inseam and the bike fits me very well.

The current bike in the Bianchi line that is closest to the one I am selling is the Dolomiti. The Dolmiti's frame is made of chromoly, not Columbus brand tubing, and it has lower level Campagnolo Athena components, rather than Chorus. The Dolmiti lists for $4,999 and is not made in Italy.

The photos below are not very clear. Please drop me an email or give me a call if you would like me to email you higher resolution photos. I also have a Campagnolo Ergo-Brain computer that is not included in the price, but I will sell it at a low price if the buyer is interested. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or call me at (617) 416-1008. Thank you. Mark

1981 22.5” Bianchi Road Bike Frame - $250 (Billerica)

Date: 2010-06-18, 10:01PM EDT
Reply to: sale-dm3ba-1799505983@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Please Note: If you send me your name, number, and the best time to call, I will call you ASAP.

I am reluctantly selling my Sea Foam Green Bianchi Road Bike Frame. It is stamped "MADE IN ITALY".
It has nice polished chrome at the frame joints and the painted graphics look very clean.
Some nicks, but no dents in frame. This bike is very light.

I am selling because I have too many bikes and need the space.

I may sell with all original Italian components, BUT NOT THE WHEELS.

$250 for frame or $400 with mostly original Italian components ( no wheels).

If you send me your name, number, and the best time to call, I will call you ASAP.
