I know right? Riding with like minded people, who probably won't look at your legs, for fun and pleasure sharing the camaraderie of a beautiful shared activity. Stopping somewhere for coffee and snacks while experiencing the great doors? Sounds icky, plus they could probably not keep up you either, what with your amazing legs that make women swoon.
As far as women swooning over my legs, please read the OP again and try to comprehend the message. I never said it was women only, I never said anybody swoons over my legs. Your imagination is running wild. My point is that if you mention cycling, many people look down at your legs as if they can gauge whether or not that you cycle. I never said club riders could not keep up. You have quite the imagination.
BTW, according to a poster above, cycling club members have pot bellies so why would I want to stop in the middle of a club ride for coffee and snacks?

Boy am I relieved. I thought you had to sell ALL your bikes to buy that new Lynskey thing. Regarding the new site, I read about the improvements and I'm sure some will find them useful... but considering it's a major revamp, I'm not impressed.

It happens. I once joined a running club (xc). At the time I was pretty heavy into lifting weights and cycling. They looked me up and down and I heard a few whisper, “sprinter”.
