Different types of grips for different handlebar angles?

I've really appreciated the flattened ergonomic grips on my flat-bar hybrid; they do add a lot of comfort with this handlebar type, in which I find myself leaning on the palms of my hands. But now that i'm looking at north Road style handlebars, I notice that these bars more typically sport traditional cylindrical rubber or cork grips, presumably because the upright position and different wrist angle puts less stress on the palms. If you have swept-back handlebars, what type of grips have you found most satisfactory with them?
