My Junk Box revealed...
I'm going thru a massive reorg of my shop/disaster area:
Everything but the top shelf is bicycle related...
Plus, in a dark corner, long forgotten:
It's heavy, and I've not yet investigated the contents (which, of course, may possibly bare no relationship to what's written on the box).

I wonder how many bikes we could build if we took all of the boxes of bike parts and all of the frames sitting on our shelves and mated them up.

I'll make a deal as I can't spend a lot of time on this. Bottom row is 'A', second 'B', etc. Boxes are '1', '2', etc, left being '1'. Take a vote, bottom left box being 'A1'. Whichever box gets the most votes i'll empty out and provide a photo of the contents. It varies from the odd toe strap to fancy Maillard hubs, to a ti freewheel, to Pletscher (sp?) racks to Brooks saddles to Moulton parts, to the odd Campag item. We could go one step further, once the box is selected, guess as to what might be in it.

Of course, but I'm not at all certain I can live by the rules, and I already have so much 'crap' I can't see exposing my shop to even more. Besides, by the time I'd figured out what to keep, and what to send I'd be banned for life.

I too could use the Sturmey Archer sandblaster kit, Ed. I've been needing to blast some SA IGH hubs for a long time and that looks like the pefect tool. Do you do rentals?
Coincidentally, I've been doing a semi-massive reorganization too. The dozen boxes-O-crap that live under the stairs in the basement.
Some good crap, like old bike parts, and some so-so crap, like my old Zap comix and hundreds of old photos, most of which got tossed.
I did find the old 8 X 10 sepia toned portraits of my wife's grand parents that we've been looking for for as long as we've lived here. Fourteen years. Thought they disappeared into the ether. Turns out it was only the gaping maw of the dungeon stairs. She'll be psyched when she gets home late tonight from China and finds them matted and framed, on the wall.

I'll design some fashion accessories I could make with a few hundred old toe straps. Beverage coasters outta 26T cogs. OK? Bottle openers from spent chain rings. Pencil holders from old FDs. Oh, never mind, no body has pencils any more, huh. Smart phone dash board cradles from rusty bottle cages? Holiday candle holders from drop bars.
