Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Daily Ride Photos

Either we haven't had one of these in a long time, or it vanished in the unsearchable realms of the 41.

There's been too much bickering around here of late. We need to get back to the simple things like enjoying nice photos we've taken during our rides. I'll start. Had a nice little ride around Richmond over the weekend, great sunset!

Monday was a beautiful day with clear skies and temps in the low seventies. The Super Bowl crowds were thinning out, so I rode across the bridge and took some pictures of it and the bay from the Marin Headlands.

Ugh. I can't express my jealously of your riding environment in words.

Why do I live in a frozen hole that tuns into a rainy hole later in the year? why?

South Mountain (Phoenix) is open again so I did a bit of climbing this past weekend. Beat my old time by 2 minutes!

Correct.

@PepeM good bike choice today. Love the cruiser/aero rim combo. How did that 36/18 combo work?
