Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

50+ 2013 Cannondale Quick 4 (used)

Complete newbie here!

Last time I ride a bike was 30+ years ago (53 now).
Height 5'6"
Inner leg 30"

Looking to get into cycling (fitness) and I thought this should be a good entry level bike.
Fair price?
Appreciate if you can share your opinion. Thanks in advance.

2013 Cannondale Quick 4 - $400.
Size Small

Aw... Can't seem to upload pics from iPad.

What would be a fair price?
Is this a decent starter bike?

This is a fine starter bike. I put in about 500 miles on my quick 4 before I realized I really wanted a road bike. Which incidently, a quick 4 is not. There are far more people able to comment on your bike over in the hybrid forum.

I'm not trying to run you off or anything. I'm just pointing you toward the right resources here on BikeForums. There's a whole thread over there for Quick series, etc...

New ones sell for around $650, maybe less if you get one on sale. And there are other bikes as good or better for $500 to $600 retail.

that said, the Cannondale might be a good deal at $250. One other thing. That bike might be too small for you. At 5'6", a medium might be a better fit than a small.

A touch small maybe? And a touch overpriced.
