Nice bike. I believe, per forum rules, there needs to be a price assigned to any item for sale. Good luck!

The CL ad shows $1500 (now - maybe it didn't before?).

Too big for me. Good

Sorry, it is/was on the listing which is why I didn't mention it. $1500 seems reasonable but I'm all ears. That number came from Peter but I realize that value is a function of the market. You guys seem to know your stuff and I think whoever buys this knows what a fair price looks like once you see/ride it. I'm not looking to get rich from it but I've put a little money into it and it's ready to go. Thanks for looking.

$1,500 seems like a steal.

that's a short top tube for that size frame, which is especially odd since the stem is 130mm, are you 100% on that measurement, center to center? What a beautiful machine, do I need a 3rd, 1981 built machine? Probably not, but it sure looks nice.

+1 My bike is two years older and Nervex lugged 531 (and 59 st - 59tt; this bike doesn't remotely fit me - good!). Approaching 45,000 miles and as good as day one. With those components, my bike would be a deal at that price.

okay, cool, was just curious, it's not unheard of short, I have had frames with those dimensions but I am generally ride 62 or 61 c-c frames and 95% of those I have owned (which is quite a few) have been 58 or 59, usually the handmade to order one are longer. I actually has a Raleigh pro once that was 61x56 c-c that was short.

I live right around the corner. There's a public parking lot close by I thought would be a good place to meet if someone were so inclined. As much as I care for you all, there seem to be some questionable subjects amongst us. I just figured a little anonymity might be in order.

Yeah, totally agree. I mean, I own the same Mooney, navy blue and yellow, and I can tell you, I am a bit dodgey. haa haa

My Panasonic was 66cmx58cm and fit me just fine. 61x57 does not seem odd to me at all. Gorgeous bike.

I live on Mooney Road. A fine address for a fine bike, if the bike were smaller and I was richer and thinner.
