Can't find a used bike

Guys. Went to a new bike shop and the only bike that seems to fit me is the 23 size bianchi iseo but they'll have the specialized xl tomorrow so I'll go try that. I'm 6.2 in height and with regular sneakers about 6.4 from the ground. I was also told that I can play with raising the handlebar a little on a smaller bike but afraid that won't be an ideal fit

However I was looking to buy used and Craigslist doesn't have much of my size. Where else can I look in the NYC area

great - I'll check them out. I'm also looking at the new Trek fx2 since it comes in size 25 and so does canondale quick. Any other options in extra-large or jumbo sizes? Thanks

If you can get the sizing right from the specs and tech staff, Nashbar has good deals on new bikes. Their promotional discounts can save the day. You need to make some final adjustments, so it's best for somebody who does their own work. As far as Craig's List is concerned, the farther out from NYC you get, the better the deals usually get. If your traveling some place, check out the deals there on Craig's List ahead of time.

My 6'7" Grandson does fine on a Specialized XL (61) Crosstrail. And he has a 38" inseam! 6'2" to 6'4" should not be a problem.

What keywords do you use on Craigslist. I searched for hybrid bike 25 and got exactly one result

Great video on how best to find bikes on Craigslist:

Bottom line: leave your searches as broad as possible. "hybrid" will usually not find much because most non-bike people don't know that's what this market niche is called.

Hmmm

Simply searching under Bikes for "XL" turns up a few potential candidates.

https://newyork.craigslist.org/jsy/bik/6165933728.html

You can also put your desired size in.

For example searching for: (23|58|59|60|61)

Here is a Specialized Sirrus.

The Bianchi size 23 is the seat tube size 58.4.The Top tube is 590/582 on what they call size 59.
I'm 6' 2 1/2" long torso and like around A large 20" or 19" in most hybrid/mt bike.

Is it the the specialized Sirrus ? The XL should have longer reach.higher stack and longer wb..etc.
Get the one you are most comfortable on.
