Shimano 600 6207 groupset- $80

I'm a big fan of 6207 Shimano 600 because it's solid equipment that just lasts and lasts and will also friction shift up to 10 speeds. This 6207 group has been thoroughly cleaned and refurbished mechanically so it's solid rider quality. The RD had the usual scrapes and scuffs on the faceplate, so it was sanded down and polished & the pulley wheels were replaced. The FD and brakeset required only cleaning and polishing (note that one caliper has newer pads and holders) & both adjusters are included. Crankset was completely disassembled and cleaned, both rings look good with lots of life left. Shifters are complete, which is a rare find these days, and come with downtube bosses with 5mm bolts, so they'll work on any frame with normal dt braze-ons. Hubs are 36 hole 6207 front and 1050 (105 series) 32 hole freewheel rear. Both have been disassembled, cleaned, regreased and rebuilt, the rear has a new axle and a couple replacement cones. Brake levers have some scratches but nothing that can't be sanded and polished out; no hoods but Dia Compe/Cane Creek hoods will fit fairly well.

Great for a rider quality or commuter build. Yours for only $80 plus shipping. Questions? try rccardr@cox.net or 7039873346.

Thanks for looking!
Doc

Anybody? Can also include a handlebar and stem, possibly a seatpost depending on size.

Nice deal. What length are the cranks?

They are 170's.
Have had some inquiries about parting this out but would prefer to sell it off as a complete group.
Figure shipping in CONUS is around $10-12.

In response to an inquiry, I tried installing a spare Campy brake lever hood to one of the lever bodies, and it fit almost perfectly! Just trim a little around the bottom where it meets the lever. Probably safe to assume that Rustine hoods (available in black, white and gum) will fit as well.

Dia Compe 204 hoods fit those levers perfectly.

I have these levers and use the 204 hoods. They fit decent but I had to do some minor surgery to the top and bottom of the opening for them to fit without any interference to the lever action.

I think I remember having to trim the bottom of the opening a hair. But the important thing is they fit flush with the bars. I had some different Dia Compe's that left a big gap.

Hi,

I was wondering if this groupset is still available and if you have the rear cassette as well? But if not what kind of cassette would you recommend to go with this groupset?

Group is long since sold.

6207 is a freewheel hub, so whatever 6 speed freewheel floats yer boat.

Just because this resurfaced - can you confirm that the rear derailleur can shift 9/10 speed? Hoping to not have to replace mine when I cold set my rear triangle to 130mm and add more sprockets in the back.

Yep, confirmed. Have used this group to shift up to a ten speed cassette with a 28 big cog (see pic of Tempo) as well as 10 speeds with a 34 using a replacement 80's Deore RD. Did the same thing with an Ironman back in 2016 for SoTR (second pic).
