Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Lauf Anywhere

Lauf is an interesting company. I just became aware of this bike.

https://www.laufcycling.com/product/lauf-anywhere

It looks loooooong, with a short stem and slack head tube. Should be really stable but a little sluggish on the turns. Reminds me of the DeVinci Hatchet.

Threaded bottom bracket.

The bottle opener is just silly.

Tested to ISO mountain bike standards. I like that.

Yes, it's redundant when you can easily open a bottle with clipless pedals.
Lauf does have an "added value" attitude toward their customer base and look to include the last 5 percent to their products.

I dig it...although the geo is a bit funky.

About that....a 400gramCF fork? To MTB standards? CX forks rated to ASTM condition 2 (6" drops or less) are 40-50% heavier, color me skeptical here. 400g for a CF fork is road bike fork territory.

Nothing special, bottle opener is cool, super long and low. It gets a meh from me.

That looks like a lot of neck pain but they make up for it with a threaded bottom bracket!

I like what they have done with the leaf-spring fork.

71 degrees is hardly what I'd call slack and an 80mm stem on a medium is pretty normal for an off road bike. Its basically a first generation 29er with drop bars. No reason to think it would be sluggish in turns.

Personally, I'd go with a shorter stem and put the bars quite a bit higher.

Don't mind the burgundy colour. Reminds me of similar I've seen on a Calfee.

I'd throw it in the long camp, with the Ritchey Outback Breakaway carbon, and a bunch of others.

A short chain stay and very long top tube. I wonder how that works. A top tube of just under 570 is pretty darn long for someone 5'9".

Looks like the handle bar reach is similar to the grail handlebar reach.
I like that they give handlebar stack/reach. I do find the handlebar stack/reach to be much more useful than frame stack/reach, although it makes it hard to compare to other frames.

Interesting how the head tube angle stays the same across the range.

Looks like a pretty aggressive race bike, with the highish bottom bracket, short chain stays, super low frame stack (guess the bars don't have much drop), combined with the very long top tube and short stem closer to what is found on a mountain bike
