Campagnolo bb spindle measurements?
Mid 60’s Paramount tear down . Looking at the Campagnolo bottom bracket , the axle / spindle is stamped with 120.
Decided to measure it with my calipers and I’m getting 112 mm end to end.
Whats up with that? Just Campagnolo weirdness or what?
thanks

The 120 stamp on the spindle means that this bottom bracket is to be paired with a frame spaced 120mm at the rear dropouts. Your getting the correct reading from your caliper.

only a concern if you want to use say 6 in a diamond drive side crank arm or later.
6 can be either, not terribly hard to tell.
