Nice ride. I'm assuming you did the first day century? Day 2 looks really long too.

There were three options.
Weddington, NC to Darlington, SC 112 miles ( I did this one)
Rockingham NC to Darlington, SC 70 miles (wife did this one)
Columbia, SC to Darlington, SC 100 miles
Day Two was rough, there was a headwind coming into the beach, the roads were not that great (SC backroads) and we were all hurting from the day before.
The group that left from Weddington were more "racers" and faster pace riders, and the second day we all grouped together (within our group) with the slower riders that left from Rockingham. Great group to ride with, and they all know how to have fun.

I have rode several times with my buddy Vance leaving from there, but I have never done the Saturday rides since I live so far away. May be racing with the Bolt Brothers Team next year, as I am not going to be on the road much anymore with my new gig.
We left from Weddington in the last wave and also Sunday in the last wave. Several of my friends rode with Team Roadkill and the Gold Bond Boys Team which left in the first wave of riders.
Will is in one of the pictures with Clif from our party Saturday night at the Holiday Inn.

Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed the pics!
Looks like everyone had fun. Sometimes people miss that aspect of cycling and just hammer through everything like zombies

Actually riding tomorrow down that way after the Big Sweep with Michelle (Tim's wife, both are on the ODA racing team) and several other Rank Riders.
You going up and riding the Tour de Leaves? or what's your next ride? Check out the forum, we organize some rides there.

depends on when Will get back from Vegas, wrecked on Saturday, which made fighting those head winds that much enjoyable on Sunday, and the bike needs work.
