Anyone in Chicago have or want to split a can of Frame Saver?

I only have one bike frame I want to treat, and perhaps someone in Chicago has a can of frame saver I can share or take off of their hands? Each can is supposed to be good for 3-5 uses. PM me if you have a can or want to split one with me.

Thanks!

Is this thrifty or cheap? Frame saver has good shelf life. Maybe you will get another bike? FWIW, boiled linseed oil and a bit of paint thinner in it works as well.

There's also LPS-3 rust inhibitor which is available at aircraft supply houses for about 1/3 the price per ounce as the bike-specific Frame Saver stuff.

I haven't used it yet, but when I repaint I'm going to use Osphocoat (?), very inexpensive marine rust inhibitor that has phosphorus in it, which I believe is also the active ingredient in frame saver.

Amsoil makes a motorcycle chain lube/undercoat called "MPHD Heavy Duty Metal Protector" sold in auto parts stores. This stuff is an absolute dead ringer for Frame Saver. It looks like it, smells like it, applies like it and dries like it. In fact, I'm almost certain Frame Saver is just the repackaged Amsoil product. You get twice as much for half the cost by buying the Amsoil brand.
