Honestly, Hayes seems to the Manitou of the brake world. They keep making new products with new names that have all the same problems of the old ones. They are two companies I am amazed are still in buisiness and doing as well as they are.

They'll fail just as bad as all the other products the component *****s don't jock right away. If I had a nickel for everytime I jumped into a thread where someone was stroking it to one flavor of the month or another, I'd be a millionaire.

I still have respect for Hayes. A few years back Mags where great brakes, the 9s are a decent price point brake... and the el caminos were a total failure...it happens.
Hopefully the stroker will give some credit back to Hayes.

it seems now people are starting to imitate magura lever body style. Somehow, the Stroker looks heavy and has a weird lever body. And its white!!!, I wonder if it would look cheap??.

My El Caminos are not the best brakes ever - I have a couple minor complaints - but in terms of performance, they work just fine, even on 1500+ vertical feet dh descents.

I saw yesterday that this set is in fact real. Almost came back here and corrected myself, but then realized that you guys would do it for me 
I'm running hayes 9 carbons and like them, like them for 2 years now or else I would have changed. Interested to see how these perform.

Will probably be doing the new brakes thing in May. Will probably build up a set of Mags from loose parts, so I won't put them down.
