Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What's your food indulgence?

As a cyclist trying to get in better shape, I try to cut out sugars, excessively fatty foods, simple quantities of food, etc., but there are still things that I have a horribly difficult time saying no to.

1) Oreos
2) Peanut M&M's
3) Ice Cream
4) Mocha/Latte's.

I'm sure there are some of you out there who are so disciplined that all you have in the morning are two slices of whole wheat toast, steamed broccoli for lunch, and a heaping plate of tofu for dinner, but for the rest of you normal humanoids, what's your food weakness?

good god, man, I'd kill myself before submitting to that diet. I don't eat so that I can ride. I ride so that I can tuck into a heavy plate of ribs ... or pulled pork ... or bacon ... or, hell, just give me a whole pig and I'll pick away at it for a week or so. that's not weakness. it's a point of personal pride

Being a strict vegan it dosen't take much to amuse me as far as food. Favorite treat: Soy Delicious frozen desert. Parline Pecan it my favorite. Take it home, get comfy and slowly eat the whole pint. It taste soooo good.

Mostly chocolate, and chocolate ice cream, but I may only have some once a month. I will drink a soda once a week.

I was drinking beer every night and then realized that was a big portion of why my weight stayed the same. Good thing most of my 5 gals of beer had already been drunk [sic?].

Beer, wine, mixed drinks, and the occasional hookah. As for food, I don't like sugary food or fast food so if I'm forced into eating either I eat as little as possible. As for a good home cooked meal, I eat as much as I can cram down my throat.

I hate it when sites do that to disable hotlinking. Effective, though.
