Happy 50th Birthday to me

Since you losers are the closest thing I have to friends I thought I'd share that today is my 50th birthday. I didn't think it would matter but it does. Here's hoping someone will throw some abuse my way! :-)

Nifty Fifty. Everybody should be able to retire at 50 so they can spend what's left
on bikes or what not.

Hey this was a good Idea, I'm actually getting some hits. I actually feel like I have some freakin' friends :-) Let's see, bike related gifts ... no I don't think so since I have no friends. BUT! I have been buying MYSELF tons of stuff - mostly clothing. I intend to be better dressed for this commuting business since my kids were harassing me about my attire. Of course I've been spending plenty of money on bike stuff like cables; housings; bar tape; saddles & other parts over the past few months leading up to spring.

Me either, the same fate is going to happen to me in 20 days. That is if I make it that far. Seeing all those photoshoped pictures of Chip feels like it's taking years off my life.

I thought this would be about your bike turning 50. In bike years you're only 25. Enjoy.

Happy Birthday! I make 51 on the 12th. It ain't so bad.

I think you are supposed to have some PIE! Check with the regulars at the over 50 board and they will agree.

And thank you for elevating my status to loser. That's one of the nicer things thrown my way here.

Have Fun!

Happy half century day! May you bike as much as possible before your warranty runs out. (I've about a year to go for that milestone.)
