Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Time for some Belgian love to counter the Scottmania

Here's my Damocles - I know I have violated a BF Prime Directive by not having a white fence, missing the drive side and not flipping it. Oh well.

I was going to post it for you, but you should really scale the photo down before posting it. It's huge.

Better than your Scott Addict?
You and PCad are finally going to have something in common.

I used to have a LOOK 595 that was my climbing bike, when I bought the Noah it was so much like my 595 (Ridley is stiffer) that I decided to go all out on the climbing bike. So I sold the 595 and bought the Addict, 13.3lbs, the Noah and the Addict are really different bikes. The Noah is stiffer, especially in the BB area, and quicker handling. Pcad and I have had one thing in common for years..we both have a massive dislike for each other.

I don't have a massive dislike for anyone. I leave that to others, they're better at hating and superiority complexes than I could ever hope to be.

Why can't I get this kind of cooperation when I ask you idiots to post your Scott bicycles?

I should get more respect around this stupid place.

The only problem with the ignore feature is that it doesn't extend to quotes.

I humbly disagree.

Nate your build looks great, I was just mess'n with Barry. The three best Ridley's on BF belong to Racer Ex..his Dean, Helium and blue Noah (the red Noah is nice too but I'm not a fan of red bikes) are stunning. Personally, from a looks standpoint I like our 08 Noah's a bit better than the 09's. The 09's however have some real aero improvements and a slightly more compliant ride.

Me too. I'm thinking about selling my Addict R1 frame and fork and getting a Helium..the Helium is quite a bit heavier but man I love the way my Ridley fits.

Just because you know somebody very kind and generous, can you really call it "your" Ridley?

Next thing you know, someone is going to start posting pics of someone else's dog too.

Just because I get first dibs and I happen to be the right size is no reason to show the hate I have three dogs as it is...that's about three dogs too many.
