Show me you u-lock mount!

Trying to come up with a better way to carry my u-lock without using the pannier. Hang it off the rack? Frame is too small for the included mount. Know any tricks?

I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/ACTION-LOCK-BR.../dp/B0019QT0QE

Never had a problem since! Holds my heavy kryptonite ES 4 to my frame. Even works in the rain!

How long has that kryptonite bracket lasted you? I would have to buy a new one every couple months until I bought the megablock.

I used three TwoFish blocks to mount my mini u lock around the seat stay-tube-seat post. It is very stable and do not rattle.

no need for extra stuff and it's hardly noticeable while riding, or carry it in the back pack. But I ride a road bike

Speak for yourself. I think shaving legs is ridiculous, as is makeup.

that's a topeak rack with integrated lock holder. Nice in theory but there's a limited range of locks that will fit in there

Yup, I bought the rack like that. I love it but there is a limited amount of locks that fit but the one that came with it is fine. I rarely have to lock the bike up

Never ride with anything on your belt/pocket that you dont want to fall on.

My u-lock sits on top of the rack, under a single crossways bungie. My rack/u-lock interface is a bit better than I-Brads, the curve of the u-lock slots under the raised front stop of the rack.

I leave my lock at work. Occasionally I grab it if I'm running errands; then I put it in my messenger bag.

I put my U-lock mount on one of the struts for my rack. its perfect because when in use it allows the U-lock to mount flush with the rack and when not in use i can swing it in so i dont have to worry about it catching something
