Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

URGENT!! Cracks on the fork of my Avanti Team Chrono 2009

Hi everyone... I am really concerned about a 2 inch horizontal hairline on the fork of my second hand Avanti Chrono Team 2009 that i have recently bought. The bike had crashed before, hit by a car. I decided to check on the hairlines and carefully scrapped the paint away. To my horror, there is a minor crack on the upper part of the fork(horizontally). But it does not go all the way through the other side, just on the outer side. What should i do? FYI the fork of this TT bike is really wide, about 5cm.
thank you

Get $300 from the bloke who sold you the damaged goods or give the bike back to him.

How about don't post pictures, and since you created three threads about this topic, go ride it and let us know if(when) it breaks.
