Looky where I been hanging the last few days.

The most awesome hard pack single track. I am at about 2700 ft. behind me and to the left of the pics about a foot outside of the pic is Clingman's Dome (about a mile high). I finished about 15 minutes before dark (In my head, that is when the mountain lions come out) The worst of it was that I rode the GT Peace, 3.5 miles out and had 3 spokes break, turning my bike into a 2-wheeled walking stick...I took the Rasta bike into town for repair and rented the Jamis Exile to finish the ride.

Today, 8 miles of whitewater and then 12 miles of unbelievable mountain single track. The kinda stuff that makes you PUCKER. 2 ft wide trail.....150ft straight down into Lake Fontana.....Un-Nerving

These are pics from yesterday. I will try to post more from today, later.

To add insult to injury, I was 5 miles out on a 9 mile ride (the pics of me with the rented bike) and i started to shoot the picture and I thought "I need to take off my helmet, because we all look like hell in a cycle helmet" when I reached up to take it off, I had left it in the truck

Looks a lot like fun in a very nice place.

Make sure you leave a little in the tank, in case you need to outrun Sylvester the local cat.

Enjoy

Looks like fun. I haven't used a MTB for actual off-road riding for too long.

If ya got more pics, would be happy to see 'em.
