For $125, How Did I Do?: Schwinn Voyageur II
The description did not match its condition, but how did I do for $125? The bike is not my size, so I intend to flip it. Overall, the bike is dirty, but with some care, it should make a nice bike. Your help is appreciated!

Hmmmm - The 1974 Schwinn successor to the '73 World Voyageur (Schwinn's 1st foray with Japanese (Panasonic) manufacture) with Dura Ace cranks and a (Schwinn branded) Shimano Crane rear DR, Barcons, Double Butted 4130 frame, and chromed lugs?
-I think I went on record saying that was at least a $300 bike all cleaned up, but I would be interested to know what others say. Not many of these show on eBay or Jaxed. Note that the non original saddle hurts value some, but a more appropriate period saddle would make it less significant.
Looks like a 25". I agree that if it were a 23" it would be easier to sell, but this is even more of an issue with large low-end bikes. (Newbies looking for their first road bike complain to me that (they) "can't stand over it while sitting on the seat")

Thanks Auchen and Bill! Great help. I've already stripped the frame down and will be repacking the headset and bottom bracket today. Your help and kindness is appreciated!

I would say $250.00 minimum in my area. I agree that these aren't seen very often. I believe one came up on CL in Chicago within the last year, but nowhere else that I haunt.
Love the chrome lugs. That is next on my wish list.

hello! I am curious as to how this schwinn Voyageur turned out. I am going to be buying one soon, and would like to see some pictures if you ever finalized it. I believe mine to be the very same model as yours though I am having a hard time with the serial numbers.
