Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

turns out their bikes used fake souls and hearts in the Vuelta.

disappointing, but not surprised. they are mass produced.

...and I actually read the other thread. Mostly because I just bought a Fuji, and it's my first road bike, so I was trying to figure out what all this meant.

All I can say is that I love my Fuji. And I weighed it after I ripped its soul out, and it was 666 grams lighter. Weird.

look at these hideous hack bikes

*the last one is 1984 team fuji. i have one (picked up used, normal wear) that i am putting a DA 7700 group on...including a Dura Ace 1" threaded headset (probably 7400) and im debating a seatpost (if they have it in the size i need).

My Fuji may have no soul, but at least the rider is devilishly handsome.
