Rixen & Kaul Vario Rack .. opinion?
Tried search, but no reviews. Looks like an obscure German company only sold at one place .. https://www.velofred.com/product_info...roducts_id=586
Anyone have a real world review? I'm considering it as an alternative to panniers because I have a great messenger bag that i'd like to keep using for school, but don't want the hassle of modifying to fit panniers.

I use one with my road bike for commuting and it's just awesome. Highly recommended
I've tried several methods (racks, panniers, baskets, etc) and this was the winner for me
KLICKfix Vario Rack. Available at Amazon

I like the looks of that. Seems like it would be a very convenient way for a lady to carry her purse.

Try posting in the folding bike forum. A lot of folks there use these as the ability to mount panniers and racks is more limited on folding bikes. I don't have experience with these, but they look cool.

R&K is not obscure, just not common in the US. I've bought their products from both Velofred and Wallingford bike; I particularly like the pump-fix. I've heard good things about their pannier clips, but have yet to try them.
