Found something confusing on the 'bay, need some expert advice. Take a peek at:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Cannondale-C...8#ht_2910wt_81
Underneath the baskets, kick back hub and flat bars is a decent track bike, no? What do you guys think, is it worth persuing as a street bike?

Looks like a pretty sweet bike all around. Probably not an ideal track bike, but a great commuter/street bike. I'd ride it.

I'd hit that, but not at , or anywhere near that price.
It looks like a pretty practical city bike.
I'd not seen those new fangled s/a hubs till now, kickshift ! Pretty neat , wonder if it works well or is just a bit gimmicky.

SRAM recently released its own 2-speed hub, but it uses an automatic shifting mechanism. It's too new to tell how well it works yet.

I have to say, I would like it more if it wasn't a coaster brake, but it did feel pretty solid. I would imagine it to work like a set of ball bearings that when traveling at ~13mph would trigger the next gear. I would love to be able to change at what point it engages, but I don't know if that is possible. All-in-all if the price was the same, I'd go for it!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I decided to go in a different direction.
