Recommend rain pants for tall rider
Can anyone recommend a source for rain pants that will actually fit me. I'm 6'4" with a 34" inseam and 34" waist so LARGE and EXTRA LARGE sizes are either too big in the waist, too short or usually both.

I'm just over 6'2 with a 35" inseam and a 32" waist and an athletic build (i.e. not a beanpole), so I constantly run into issues finding clothes that fit me properly.
I really like my Pearl Izumi rain pants. I believe I am using the "medium" size, which fits my waist properly and isn't too baggy in the legs. The length is pretty good for me - just above my ankle with my leg at the top of the pedal stroke.
Just about everything else I've tried has felt like wearing a garbage bag.

The turfer full monty pants I bought on amazon are great and I think would work well for a tall person if you size up.
Check the dimensions on amazon....

(I have a 30" inseam but have to wear L to fit my upper legs in, which leaves trailing around my ankles and flopping around my waist, at least the latter I can fix w/ the suspenders)

I've had these pants from Cabela's for 4 seasons now. I bought them in spite of the fact that they clearly say on the site that the inseam is only 33". I have a 34" inseam (32" waist) and bought mediums. I think those would be fine for you too, as the waist is very adjustable. They're plenty long, and give me good coverage all the way down.
They've held up extremely well all these years. That's a good price with them currently on sale. Highly recommended - I especially like the full side zippers, which allows me to take them on (or off) quickly and easily.
The only criticism I have is that the velcro on the ankles doesn't really cinch tight enough (it's too short), so I ended up having to use another strip of velcro to secure the drive side cuff, or it would tend to get caught up in the chain.

6'6" with a 36" inseam and 34" waist. I wear REI/Novara XL rainpants. They're not too baggy around the arse, the waist is a drawstring with a barrel cinch, and they have a roomy ankle zip that goes over shoes without issue but has a velcro adjust tab to keep 'em from getting in your chainline.

Rainlegs? They're chaps that go over your regular pants and are infinitely adjustable in the waist.

Seconding the vote on showers pass.
Also, last week I got the REI Novarra tights with the rain/windproof fronts. Man, are they nice - I really don't know if I will use my rainpants much. The natural ventilation from the backs being just warm lycra stuff keeps me from sweating as much as in rain pants - I have been out twice in rainy rides since I got them, and they are the bomb!
