Rare, cool or just plain obscure - post pics of the jewels in your parts collections

I got the idea for this thread when I took a gander at Kurt's Topline crankarm set in the FSOT thread.

What have you got that's got major "wow-factor" points? Rare stuff, cool stuff or stuff nobody's heard of; I'd like to see it. We're talking strictly components here - and what the heck, how about some shoes/clothing too.

As an example:

1978 first-generation Super Record RD (last year before the switch)

1978 second-generation Super Record RD with aluminum pivot bolts (transitional year for first- and second-generation SR RDs)

I'd say the coolest, rarest, and most difficult to find part in my collection is the LOTUS pantographed Super Record crank (used on the Lotus Design Cinelli Supreme).

I looked for years trying to find a Nitto model 185 handlebar in black with the gold rings. You see black model 185 bars, but I think the gold rings were limited edition. I needed the bars to restore my Lotus Elan 75, of which I've only seen three that exist.

Do framesets count??
The bike's not done yet, so I consider it a part, although a big one at that.

^ You betcha! That's the whole point of this thread. Since I will be spending the entire weekend indoors recuperating, expect to see some more eye-candy from me

BTW, that's no longer NOS as it's in use on the Molteni Super.

Lemme see... seems like many of the rarest and sweetest parts I have are installed on my bikes.

Simplex JUY543 on my 1957 Peugeot... probably the rarest part I have ever owned and it came as original equipment on the bike.

Barelli B-10 pedals. Smoothest pedals I've ever owned. Currently on my 1963 Hetchins.

Also have a nice little collection of Zeus parts... the gigantic high flange hubs are pure sex to look at and the Ti centre pulls are wonderful in every respect. Also have Zeus pedals and a Zeus Ti freewheel.

Will need to work on some pictures of those.

I bought a frameset because it had a white suntour cyclone group, with white diacompe calipers.

Not my pictures...the paint is pretty dinged up.

A few more odds & ends, from left to right: Regina superleggera hollow pin chain, handlebar extension (attaches from one drop to the other; not a jewel per se, but I've never seen another one like it), Dura Ace GA-200 crankset with factory drillium.
