Can you help me figure out what Bianchi this is?

All I know is that it's a Edoardo Bianchi Piaggio. I bought it for $50 to use as a bike to ride on campus. Can anyone tell me what year, gears, any details, and possible worth?

Lower end Bianchi, not a lot of value there but it should be a good solid ride for you.

In my market it's worth a couple hundred in ready to ride condition.

Around here I'd put it at $150-175 max and only that much because it's got the Bianchi name.

Age is probably 1982-1986ish based on the Shimano Z series components. Pre-indexing, lower end. Not much value there but they should be solid parts.

Thanks for the details. It does ride, the seat is cracked but everything else works fine. A very sturdy bike indeed! I'll probably just change the seat and tires and try to see if I can flip for a profit.
