I really like my Athena,but...
Since doing my buld up of my '92 Serotta with Campy Athena last fall I have really enjoyed riding it. The only drawback has been the envy of not being able to ,with 1 click, upshift multiple gears. I know that is the limitation of Athena. I would like to consider an upgrade but my group is all silver and I think all the upgrades are black. Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Thanks!

If the color is all that is wrong, then silver things can be broken down into parts and power coated black and black things can be stripped and polished out to look nicely silver. Some times you gotta do what you gotta do!
But then again I saw a Cannondale tandem on a ride last summer with all the drive site crankage in silver and the timing side crankage all in black. It was beautimous from either side. Owner never noticed until "someone" else noticed and polinted it out to the owners. They said it had not been changed by them from back when they bought it new from an authorized dealer.

Indeed - even things that you would think would look ugly and mismatching, like silver cranks and black chainrings (or vice versa) can actually end up looking pretty damn good, IMO.

You could buy Chorus shifters and swap the Athena levers and have a silver set of Chorus levers. Good luck

I do not seem to be able to find 11 speed shifters in silver except in Athena.

Unless those black things are plastic or carbon, which brake levers often are.
