Trying to figure out the year of this wheel...
Well I had some eBay bucks and have been itching for a newer front wheel as of late. Ended up pulling the trigger on a used Mavic Ksyrium Equipe. My thoughts being that pretty much anything is lighter than my Velocity B43, which comes in at just about 1200gr w/o tire, tube, and tape... Plus I wanted a lower spoke count in the front as well as aero spokes. I'm not too heavy weighing around 170 while the bike before I got the new rim is just under 20 so the lower spoke count shouldn't be an issue.
Can anybody help confirm the year of this rim though? I did find some stuff though mavic which gives me a pretty good guess, but still not totally sure. My best guess is that it's from '06 These are the only pictures I have to work with until I get the rim. And for those wondering I got the rim for a little over $60 so it's not like I took some big gamble on the rim.

2006 sounds about right. Any older and the decals don't have the "modern" italicized font but a retro 80's like all caps font with the bottom of letters working into stripes.
What you have there is the entry model ksyrium which is a solid wheel nonetheless. Flipside from the higher end models, you don't even need the special star shaped mavic spoke wrench.
