I prefer steel bikes but between carbon and ti, I would go with carbon.

If you're going to do a poll, use the poll feature.

Carbanium.
And there's this option when you start a thread to make it a poll, so people can vote and then it makes a bar chart showing how people voted.

This is not my bike, (wish it was) but the answer would be BOTH in one bike.

I seriously considered a CF/Ti bike at one time - looked at and test rode Seven, Serotta, and Merlin bikes. After all three rides I concluded it was a combination of the worse features of both materials.

It is curious that the best riders in the world, that are all looking for every fraction of a second advantage that they can possibly get (even if they have to cheat), all choose carbon. It is 100% and it has been that way for years.
Of course, someone will say that they just ride what the sponsors give them but we all know that they would insist on Ti if that would give them any competitive advantage.

IMHO, Ti/CF bikes were a desperate attempt by Ti manufacturers not to get swept away by the CF tsunami.

Between carbon and Ti, I will go with Ti.

I painted my Ti. I also picked the color so it wasn't dated and I always liked it.

Unobtanium...can't say where it's from...
Ti...pretty much bomb proof...nice ride, supple yet stiff where it matters...easy to take care of with some very fine wet/dry sand paper...
Love my Ti frame
I'd love to ride a carbon frame...not a shop, around the block ride...but I haven't had that opportunity yet
