Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Those Guys in Tennessee know how to build a frame - Lynskey

Just finished my Helix OS Build.
Ultegra 6800, Mavic Ksyrium SLS Wheels

Ride is nice and smooth. Stiff is an understatement this bike is a rocket. Climbs well, very stable on descents, and easy to close gaps.

The frame is a work of art. Welds are perfect.

And it will last way longer than that plastic crap. Your kids may even get to enjoy it. My sons are now riding my 76 steelie and I continue to rack the miles on.

I have my 2000 Litespeed Ultimate which is still a very nice ride to pass down. After my experience with Carbon I will stick with Ti.

Leave it to the 41....someone says "hey look at me I bought a nice titanium bike" and the immediate response is "yeah, you're right, carbon bikes do suck, don't they".....

Can't we simply allow the OP to enjoy his new rig without all the garbage???

I've never seen the Helix and now know why it has that model designation - nice looking rig mate.

cheers

Maybe a little long, I think it is more of the angle of the shot.

Best of luck with your new bike. It sounds like a very nice set up that I hope you enjoy for many years to come. You certainly bought it from a company that knows its stuff. Nice bike.

And then everyone see the error of their ways, throws away their CF frames, and switches to Ti. Uh, NOT! Someone's new bike post is the one place on the 41 you can count on everyone to be polite if not exactly honest. I love Ti and own it along with CF, but I know it's exotic. Not for everyone. Oh yeah, that's one of the reasons I love it.
