Will this be safe to ride on?
I just got a new wheel for my bike. Nothin fancy.
Anyways the wheel fits and changes gears good. But the threaded wheel axle studs that sits into the rear fork do not come out far enough for the nuts to screw on. The wheel came with a quick release that im using but just half the axle stud are sitting in place. Will this be safe? Everything is tight but im use to being able to but the nuts on each side and tighten then with a rench.
Hope you guys get what im saying i dont know the correct terms yet. Thanks.

In a QR system, the 5mm wide stubs of axle support the weight in the dropout, and it's the pressure of the QR squeezing the sided of the dropout against the axle locknut faces which keep it from moving.
As mentioned above, make sure the QR is installed correctly (the small springs go small ends in resting against the end of the axle like this [>-------<] and the QR is a cam which is adjusted from the left, so that flipping the lever tightens the unit.

Please find a human being that has the knowledge to properly visually inspect your wheel and make sure you have installed it correctly. On a QR axle, the nuts are there to keep the bearing play locked in. If you have moved them to try and use a "rench" to install the wheel, you may have changed this adjustment.

The hollow axle, whether threaded or not, shouldn't stick out beyond the dropout, not even a little bit. (If a quick release skewer is being used.)
