Shimano Sport Cam
Sorry if this has been posted, but some of the sickest race footage I've ever seen. Shimano's new "GoPro" if you will...mounted on Team Giant-Shimano's bikes, the forward facing one is on their sprinter, John Degenkolb's bike, during the Tour of California. These videos are not edited, or sped up. The final kick to the line is absurdly fast.
Final sprint from Degenkolb's bar and his lead-out man's saddle cam:

Final 3K of Stage 8, some very interesting stuff in the lead up to the sprint. Love all the bumping and pushing. Cav at the end with the roar, so rad!

Professional descent on a closed road from Lawson Craddock's saddle cam. I would love to be able to bomb down a closed road like this!

I can seriously watch this on a loop, it's so friggin cool. I actually work up a sweat just watching this. It's mesmerizing.
Anyway, the camera hasn't been released yet, but if someone gets one, I'd be interested to hear how it is.

I saw the first Degenkolb video, but not the others - cool!
Yeah looking forward to this coming out and reading some reviews first - I'm generally a Shimano fan.
Interested in the small size and mounting options as compared to what else is out there; not wowed by the video quality of these yet, seem really jerky, but then these were handlebar mounted and being jostled around at 40mph.

This footage is awesome and is so great and exciting for the sport. I really liked the final kilometers of stage 8; I had no idea tight quarters were and that bumping and pushing happened.
