Barrel adjuster stuck on Ultegra 6800 front brake.
I wasn't satisfied with my current stopping power so I turned the barrel adjuster while riding. Still not satisfied I gave it another turn, and then it stuck. I wasn't super happy with the power but it was fine and didn't think anything of it and didn't want to stop. When I got home to take a closer look and give it further adjusting, it wont turn, period. It WILL turn counter clockwise (with force) but turning the cable housing and little tab under the knob (not making adjustments). I'm not sure what happened, before it locked into place it was turning as it should.. suggestions?

Did you by any chance turn it to the limit of its travel?

OK, the adjusting barrel on those brakes doesn't turn. It's a D shaped part that is raised by means of a threaded knob which jacks it up and down.
I suspect that you've forced it, and turned the screw within the arm, so it's no longer free to rise and fall.
Test by removing the wheel and squeezing the caliper together to slacken the cable and see if the adjuster is free to move in and out. Also, find the orientation of the flat side, and compare to other brake. If I'm right and the adjuster is turned within the brake, use some brute force to turn it back so the flats line up, and you should be good to go. Possibly there may be damaged threads, so watch yourself adjusting. If the threads are damaged to where it doesn't work right, remove the barrel and knob, oil the threads well and work them together until they move smoothly.

Detatch the cable at the anchor bolt. Then try to move the barrel again. When you get it rotating add lube to it's threads. Andy.
