tri spoke wheel?

i love the look of them, i remember having two 5 spoke wheels on my haro shredder bmx, why are they so expensive for road/fixed gears? also any other cheap alternatives?

They're expensive because unlike your BMX bike, weight is a huge factor when people shop for road cycling gear. Carbon fiber is the most widely used material when dealing with aerodynamics because you can use more material while keeping the weight down. Deeper sections are preferable to increase aerodynamics and with that comes weight. While these wheels do look cool, their main purpose is for speed so price is subjective to what you're trying to accomplish.
