blue cable housing
I am trying to come up with a close match to the dark blue cable housing on my 85 Bianchi, but everything available seems to be more of a royal blue. I have attached a picture of what I bought new and the tired cable on the bike. I am guessing a match would require NOS cable housing, but maybe someone here knows a source. Thanks in advance. I am also looking for blue bar tape to match.

Try sliding the nylon tube out of the new housing and slide it into the old one. Haven't tried it recently but it has worked in the past. Good luck. Cloth Newbaums bar tape, dark blue, at Rivendell here.

There's a BMX guy on eBay who sells this in 25 foot rolls if the Bianchi housing doesn't work out.
